He gave up.. after all of what he has been through, he had to give up.. His family's financial status worsened so he had to care after his other six brothers and his parents who could not work anymore. He soon applied for a job in a respectable firm and he was assigned for a mission in the southern part of the country, so he moved there, kept on sending most of his monthly salary back home leaving little enough for himself to survive and so, he helped funding his younger brothers' education to assure that they wouldn't face as much difficulties as he did during their studies and helped his older brother to finish his engagement arrangements. Surely, it was not much but it holded back his brothers' future from falling apart, therefore, he felt complete satifaction despite the pain that resided his heart, he felt that it was such a wonder that  he could survive that much, at least, he could escape a standard future of a peasant's son as a shepherd, proving that it is really possible to do what you set your mind to.
The brother's wedding day was a perfect occasion to set free from the job's burden, to meet up with old friends, to be introduced to distant relatives that one didn't know that they even existed, to know the complete family tree and origins, the legends of heroic grandfather's fights against the occupation or the miraculous tales of a pious ancestor... That's how families used to meet; either when they hear about a relative's marriage or a relative's death. As he was chatting with his cousins, he spotted some teens taking a sneak peek at the dancing girls inside and then they ran away when he approached to kick them out. when he was about to close the door, he saw her... he stood still, astonished ...  he was not hallucinating, she was not a work of his imagination as everyone claimed before. She was simply there,  few feets apart.. He called his cousin to ask about her. She turned out to be a distant relative living in the far mountains. " she does not suit you" he told him, "She is not educated, she barely knows how to write her name, she is a typical village girl, don't let her beauty fool you. Besides you expressed your desire to pick an educated woman as your life partner haven't you? If you pick this girl up, you might not get along " without hesitation he asnwered " I can teach her, it can work out"
